If this is true, then this means 2 things :

1. The Wooly entity was send out by Hameln to kill Joanne and Riley so nobody would stop it from destroying the tapes/evidence.

2. The Amanda entity is good since it wants to protect the tapes in hope that someone would find them and leak them online to exposes Hameln's crimes. The wooly entity is bad however, for trying to protect Hameln.

My theory is that if the tapes are destroyed, the evidence for Hameln's actions of trapping kids inside the Amanda The Adventurer show won't be leaked out.
