In the corrupted tape there is a scene of Amanda in distress and wooly giants, looking over everything, no more wooly is Sam stuff, maybe wooly is someone from Hameln who was trapped inside aswell?
What's on your mind?

Theory
There are theories that Wooly is Amanda's father or something like that, but I think it's someone else. Amanda clearly doesn't like him, and he's not as kind as he might seem (for example, the moment from the second part where he makes Riley tell his story that angers Amanda, knowing that the monster will definitely attack Riley in this case)
What if Woolie used to work in Hameln, which is why Amanda still doesn't like him? After all, he was involved in what happened to her
(sry if this writen poorli, my english is bad)
This idea is basically what in the real life world of Amanda the Adventurer, the Dora the Explorer show exists as a Rip Off.
Here's the story:
An Former Employee at Hameln has recently been fired due to him disliking the companies treatment and use of Rebecca for the Amanda the Adventurer show. So he decides to make a show with the same concept as Amanda and with the same technology used to make the show, except it's not used in a hurtful way.
He ended up creating Dora the explorer and pitched the idea to Nickelodeon and they casually greenlit it for a first season and during production they used the same technologies and techniques done for Amanda on the voice actors for characters like Dora, the Troll, Boots, Swiper, and Backpack but unlike Amanda their use of the technology had limits to make sure none of the voice actors got harmed. It ended being a huge success on Nick Jr and Noggin.
Hameln immediately took notice of this and attempted to sue Nickelodeon. However during the court case the Ex-Hameln Employee that pitched Dora to Nickelodeon brought along a giant amount of information about the shady things going on at Hameln that he saved just before his firing.
While Nickelodeon did lose a little from the lawsuit they still were able to keep Dora going and it became a giant global phenomenon of a Franchise.
Hameln however ended up going bankrupt because of the lawsuit and considering how much stuff the Ex-Employee showed in the Court it was soon released to the public (which has since become lost overtime) it was obvious why no one bought them and they soon closed down.
Was once a human child
I know this theory is nothing new, but I saw some videos dedicated to the topic, all of which provide decent enough evidence. So, here we go.
1. The static
At certain points in the full game, static will appear. This can take on two colors: red or white. Some people think that the white static is indicative of Rebecca, who mind you, is the person who became Amanda. They claim that, whenever Amanda goes off-track or remembers something, white static will appear. As for the red static, that's the entity. Now, I've actually looked, and yes, this might be the case. I'll give examples. In What's a Family?, if you repeatedly type no when Amanda asks you to help the kitten, red static appears. Meanwhile, in the corrupted version of In Your Neighborhood, when Amanda recalls something bad happening, white static appears.
2. Oh No! Accidents!
In the corrupted version of Oh No! Accidents!, Amanda is preparing to do surgery on poor Wooly. Now, one could argue that this is because the entity is controlling her, but there's no red static, not even when you constantly get answers wrong. In the end, Amanda is successful in taking out Wooly, which brings me to my next point.
3. Out there somewhere
After Amanda kills Wooly, you get a puzzle, which when solved, gets you the final tape. Now, based on the original build of the game, you'd think Amanda might try to break into Riley's home, but nope, she's completely passive and asks to share a secret with you. There are 3 possible outcomes:
A. Say no and leave without consequences
B. Say yes
C. Same as b, but you now have all colored tapes.
And remember, you can only get this tape AFTER Wooly is out of the picture.
There is one problem with this theory though, and unfortunately, I can't explain it: going back to the corrupted version of Oh No! Accidents!, there's one frame where Amanda, who looks to be partly in her monster form, is attacking Wooly. If you have any ideas what this means, please share.
So yeah, that's the theory. If you agree or disagree, please let me know. And, I'll gladly take any criticism.
Amanda is Rebecca Colton; her soul is trapped in one of the tapes and possessed by a demon. Rebecca is trapped as Amanda and tries to take control and warn the player, but the demon took control, and it was too late.
The reason Amanda freaks out when you don't help the kitten is because, she's the lonely kitten.
His theory was going well until the whole ‘wooly is Sam’ thing he’s got going on. I think wooly is just a character added into the game or ,like Rebecca, the voice of wooly was put into the game (or rather his soul was or whatever)
Sam colton is still alive
So according to Wooly's page, he is related to Amanda. Why is he scared of his own relative? We know that Wooly and Amanda aren't related, because in the secret tape that a kid named Lauren goes missing, Wooly says, "My mom usually holds my treat money." My, not Our. Credit: @Lol18181818
So they could be cousins. That is the most likely theory.
In the orange tape (the one where Lauren is watching the show) the dad says how they have mint chocolate chip ice cream which I think they mentioned was Laurens's favourite. After Lauren disappears, Amanda says "Mmmmm I love mint chocolate chip!" meaning Amanda can literally hear what's going on outside of the show. Also, the mum said "it's like she can't even hear me" meaning maybe Lauren is in a trance. Just a theory.
I've had this question ever since I started watching people play Amanda The Adventurer. Sheep in real life have an average lifespan of 10-12 years. Wooly is sentient, like @Superguymanb told me. He could be about the same age as Amanda, because they are the same height, and probably weight. Amanda looks about 6 to me, so Wooly could be 6 in human years.
Aunt Kate is a character that is only mentioned a few times throughout the game, that means that we don't have much proof of who she is. I think she might have some Sam Colton, somehow. I think Aunt Kate might be Sam Colton's wife. We don't actually know Sam Colton's wife, but maybe he has one, but he's pretending not to have a wife, that is.
I have a theory that Wooly is a human that Amanda trapped inside of a sheep's body. Wooly clearly remembers he was trapped inside of a sheep's body, because Wooly is always nervous around Amanda. This is because he doesn't want Amanda to do anything worse. Also, he can speak English. He also stands on 2 legs, (like a human). And he was forced to be featured as a main character in a kids' show. He is on Amanda The Adventurer against his will. Amanda forced Wooly to be on the show.
This question has been on my mind. As we know, Rebecca is Sam Colton's adopted daughter. I believe that maybe her parent[s] probably died, and/or couldn't take care of her. She could be related in some part to Aunt Kate and Riley. We don't have evidence of this, but tell me your opinion!
In the secret tape when a kid named Lauren went missing.
You can hear Wooly saying "Usually my mom holds my treat money".
He said "My" and not "Our".
So that proves that Amanda and Wooly are not siblings.
Theory Debunked.
If the demo game and the current one are connected. Who is the person watching those tapes. What if the person watching them is Sam. And he was watching them to remember Rebecca's voice since she went ,,missing". But after that he also went ,,missing" with no trace. Hence the paper in the current game.
