█████[1], also known as [][1] or most commonly known as "the Entity" by fans, is the dark and evil side of Amanda. It is the only way to die in the game, therefore it serves as one of the antagonists of Amanda the Adventurer.
Amanda transforms into the Entity whenever she breaks down into any sort of heavy despair (e.g. sadness, anger, disappointment or aggression). If she gets momentarily distressed in any kind of way, the television screen will usually begin to glitch, a sign that Amanda may transform into the entity if the player keeps driving her against the wall.
Appearance[]
The Entity is a tall very thin creature with numerous eyes on its face, a mouth full of long razor sharp teeth, and long arms and legs ending in long sharp claws. It has a hair style very similiar to Amanda's.
History[]
Much about the creature itself, such as its origins, is unknown, though it's most likely a product of Hameln Entertainment's cultish experiments on Rebecca Colton. Somehow, the creature would become tied to Amanda in her show, along with Rebecca. This would leave the show and its tapes in a cursed-like state, putting its viewers in danger.
Kate Park presumably fell victim to the creature whilst attempting to investigate the show, bequeathing her house to Riley and warning them of the tapes before her fate. If Riley chooses to not help the kitten in "What's a Family?", or no matter how they answer Amanda's question in "Everything Rots!", she appears as the monster in their home and enters the attic, where she kills Riley.
Trivia[]
- The creature bears a slight resemblance to the Legendary Black Beast of Aaaargh from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in that both are eldritch abominations with multiple eyes.
- Its plush page refers to it as ███████ and [].
