Amanda the Adventurer 2 is an upcoming indie horror game developed by MANGLEDmaw Games and published by DreadXP. It is the sequel to Amanda the Adventurer, released in 2023.

Amanda the Adventurer 2 was confirmed to be in development by DreadXP in October 2023. The demo was released on Steam on June 10, 2024, with the full game releasing in fall 2024.

Synopsis

Amanda the Adventurer 2 follows Riley Park, who, after seeing what was contained on the mysterious tapes in their attic, travels to the Kensdale Public Library to investigate further. Upon arriving, they're greeted by a masked figure who claims to know their Aunt Kate, before she died and needs their help finding something Aunt Kate had left in the library. They also warn of a powerful entity that seems to be drawn to the tapes.

Meanwhile, Amanda is now aware of Riley's presence, and is doing everything to find a way to free herself. Suddenly, the stakes are higher than ever before, as it's not just Amanda looking for Riley now...

• October 19, 2023 - Teaser trailer is posted by DreadXP on YouTube.
• November 29, 2023 - Twitter account teases that they're adding collarbones to Amanda's rig.
• January 5, 2024 - Developers are working "hard on more adventures". An animation test of Amanda and Wooly references Big and Small House. It is not in the game.
• April 18, 2024 - A teaser image is given, with (presumably) Amanda standing in the darkness at a toy train station, with drawings in the top left.
• May 10, 2024 - The trailer for the demo is posted.
• June 10, 2024 - The demo is released.
