KND 97 is a radio station in Kensdale, Ohio. It is hosted by DJ Brandon AM and is advertised to feature musical hits from as early as the 1940s.
On February 20, 2023, KND 97 celebrated President's Day by playing the national anthem throughout the day. During this time, the station was briefly taken over by DJ Two-Shades.

The radio
In Amanda the Adventurer 2, a radio playing KND 97 appears during "Let's Practice Patience!" and stays until the next episode tape is played. In a series of spiels (ordered in the table below), DJ Brandon AM announces it is President's Day and that the station is playing the United States national anthem on repeat. The anthem plays, distorts into the Amanda the Adventurer theme, then returns to normal at the end. The next spiel then plays.

DJ Brandon AM: "What's up, Kensdalians? This is your host with the most. DJ Brandon AM coming at 'cha. We're at the studio celebrating President's Day by playing the national anthem from sunrise to sundown. So hats off and party on. This is KND 97."
DJ Brandon AM: "Goooooood mornin', Kensdale! Or maybe goodnight? There's no windows in this studio so it makes no difference to me. We're here celebrating President's Day—or night—in the studio by playing the national anthem on repeat. That's right, repeat. That's right, repeat. That's right, repeat. So let's here ol' reliable one more time. You're listening to KND 97."
DJ Brandon AM: "Thanks for tunin' in. It's your boy Brandon AM surfin' the waves. Just a little reminder that in celebration of President's Day, we'll be spinnin' that sweet ol' banger, the national anthem, all day long. Stay tuned. [???], boys."
DJ Brandon AM: "Feeling a little under the weather? Well I'm Dr. DJ Brandon AM here to let 'cha know I've got the cure, and since it's President's Day, it's free of charge. I'm prescribing 24 hours straight of the national anthem, and you're in luck, 'cause your session starts now. KND 97."
DJ Brandon AM: "Hey, hey, hey, how's everyone hangin' in Friendsdale today, huh? This is your local earworm DJ Brandon AM comin' at 'cha from the KND 97 studio. We've got a special treat for you in celebration of President's Day. If you've tuned in earlier, you might know what I'm talking about. That's right. It's the national anthem on glorious repeat. Only on KND 97."
DJ Brandon AM: "Sick of hearing the national anthem on repeat? Neither are we. Happy President's Day from KND 97."
DJ Brandon AM: "DJ Brandon AM here to tell you that I've completely lost it! I don't even know what year it is. But I do know what day it is. It's President's Day. As is tradition here at KND 97 studios, we'll be spinnin' the national anthem non-stop, till the clock strikes twelve. Where am I?!"
DJ Brandon AM: "Welcome back to KND 97. This is your local radio prophet BJ Drandon AN. We're on hour twenty-three of the national anthem in celebration of President's Day, and honestly, I'm already looking forward to next year. Thanks for tunin' in and I'll catch you on the flip side. AM out."
DJ Brandon AM: "What's up, radio gremlins? Is your President's Day not patriotic enough? You've come to the right place. Here on KND 97, we're championing the airwave with our national anthem, from dusk, till dusk. You heard me right, soldier. Attention!"
DJ Two-Shades: "You're um- You're listening to uh... [checking a paper] K- KMD- KND 97. DJ Brandon is stepping away for a moment."
Brandon is heard muffled in the background.
DJ Two-Shades: "Something terrible has happened to him. No, not terrible. It's just a- an emergency has come up, and so I'm me, DJ Two-Shades. I'm sittin' in right now and I've heard that today is President's Day! And we're listening to the national anthem all day! We got the whole thing for ya, not just part of it, the whole thing. We got all of it. Let's listen to all of it right now! DJ Two-Shades...!"
Brandon, seemingly in a hostage situation, manages to return to the microphone. He removes something covering his mouth and breathes heavily.
DJ Brandon AM: "This is your host... DJ Brandon... AM... We'll be... We'll be returning to nor- ugh- to regular programming here on... on KND 97... uh... with uh... more of the s- more of the same but for- for Presid- for President's Day. Uh, that's uh... y- your national anthem. Um... ugh... national anthem. God bless America. The land of the free. This is DJ Brandon AM. Uh, KF- KND 97..."
The national anthem plays and distorts into the Amanda the Adventurer theme.
