"We Can Fix It!" is a tape found in Amanda the Adventurer 2. It is found in the library office, opened after giving The Entity the Wooly plushie in "Let's Hunt for Treasure!".

Synopsis[]

Amanda and Wooly try to fix everything that is broken.

Transcript[]

The tape opens with Amanda and Wooly distorting across the screen, alongside warped audio. After some static, another scene is shown with angry eyeless Woolies circling a cowering Amanda, repeatedly saying her name. It then cuts to unsettling visuals of Amanda and Wooly merged. Then, the two, the Opossum, and the surrounding objects are shown sinking into the ground.

  • Male voice: "Here at Hameln, we believe that every child has a creative light within—"

The video cuts to a close-up of Meatman before a black background.

  • Meatman: "Close your eyes. Count down from ten. You may feel this pinch."

Multiple Amandas appear in a red-lit scene, screaming, on their knees, and covering their ears as a giant smiling Wooly rises in the background. Then, the Amandas—without their eyes—stare at the camera. The video then cuts to the logo of Hameln Entertainment, freezing before their jingle finishes. The tape ends but doesn't eject. Behind the player, a frog laying on a tray has appeared on a table, next to a scalpel.

Upon cutting open the frog, three different wheels are shown inside. The player is suddenly forced back toward the TV as the tape continues playing. The title card for Amanda the Adventurer is briefly shown before cutting to Amanda and Wooly, whose speech is distorted. Their models and the surrounding objects glitch.

  • Amanda: "Hi, I'm Amanda!"
  • Wooly: "And I'm Wooly!"
  • Amanda: "Wooly, what do you have there?"
  • Wooly: "Oh, just some broken stuff I was going to throw away."
  • Amanda: "Wooly, if something is broken, we can fix it!"

Cut to Amanda taking skates out of Wooly's "throw away" box.

  • Amanda: "Oh no, my favorite skates! You can't throw this away!"

Brief close-up of the skates. A wheel is missing.

  • Wooly: "Amanda, be sensible! You have no idea where the wheel is."
  • Amanda: [to Riley] "We can fix it, right?"

The player returns to the frog.

  • Wooly: "Heh... could have gone to the dump by now."
  • Amanda: "Shush! They're trying."

After taking the skates wheel out and returning to the TV, it is put in the skates before it disappears.

  • Amanda: "See, Wooly, I told you! Sometimes a broken thing just needs a little help to be good as new again! [brief glitch] We did it! What else do you have in there that we can fix?"

If the player chooses the toy car wheel or the pirate ship wheel:

  • Amanda: What the? How's that going to fix my skate? I guess you can just throw it away, Wooly...
  • Amanda: Hi-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-
The tape resets and ends.

  • Wooly: [keeping the box away from Amanda] "Amanda, none of this is worth fixing!"

The Opossum is briefly shown inside the box.

  • Amanda: "I'll be the judge of that. [snatches Blabbot out of the box] You can't throw poor Blabbot away."
  • Wooly: "Amanda, it doesn't work anymore."

Brief close-up of the back of Blabbot. The batteries are missing.

  • Amanda: "Hey, wait a minute... he's not even really broken! We can definitely fix him!"

The player returns to the frog.

  • Amanda: "All Blabbot needs is something to power him up!"

After taking a battery out of the frog and returning to the TV, it appears above Blabbot then falls into him, powering him up.

  • Amanda: "We fixed him!"
  • Blabbot: "They broke the mold when they made you!"
  • Amanda: [laughs] "I guess sometimes breaking things is a good thing!"
Blabbot yells as Amanda throws him off-screen. She returns to Wooly's box. The distortion and glitching has decreased.

If the player chooses thick battery or stone:

  • Amanda: He isn't even really broken! And you still can't fix him?

Amanda throws Blabbot on the floor and kicks his head off.

  • Amanda: What's the point of even trying?
The tape resets and ends

  • Wooly: "Amanda, the rest of this really is junk."
  • Amanda: "Just let me look!"

Wooly puts the box down. Amanda searches inside only to find the Opossum. She screams and falls backward, followed by the Opossum jumping onto Wooly's head. All of them scream.

  • Wooly: [to Riley] "Hey, you! A little help here!?"

The Opossum grabs Wooly's left eye.

After clicking the Opossum, it yells, freezes in a shocked pose, then bounces off-screen.

  • Amanda: [laughs] "I really do NOT like that guy, but you should have seen your face!"
Wooly sighs, then walks toward the picnic table.

If the player didn't click the Opossum, then it pulls out Wooly's left eye and he starts screaming:

  • Wooly: I can't see! I can't see!
  • Amanda: Don't worry Wooly! We can fix it!
  • Wooly: I don't like this game anymore!
  • Amanda: Let's fix Wooly!

If the player strays away from the task:

  • Wooly: (Whimpers)
  • Amanda: Quit being such a baby, Wooly. You'll be fine.
  • Wooly: I... can't see, I... can't see!

If the player chooses the googly eye:

  • Amanda: (Giggles) Wooly, you're so silly!
  • Wooly: Very funny, Amanda.
Wooly shakes his head making the Googly eye wobble and Amanda laughs. Then he takes it out and his left eye reappears.

If the player chooses toy eyes or button:

  • Amanda: Hmm... Bold choice, but I don't see how that helps Wooly.
  • Wooly: Amanda! That's not fu-
The tape glitches and resets.

  • Wooly: "I can't handle this anymore!"

He sits at the table, only for a leg to break and him to fall off.

  • Amanda: [laughs] "Silly Wooly! The picnic table's leg is broken!"

Close-up of a glitching board with a missing screw.

  • Amanda: "What do you say? Think we can fix it?"

The player returns to the frog.

  • Amanda: "Boy, Wooly, you really need to lay off those peach pies."
  • Wooly: "H-Hey!... I just got a lot of wool."

After taking out the right screw and returning to the TV, it is inserted into the board.

  • Amanda: "We've done a great job of fixing things today."

If the player chooses a bolt or a rusty nail:

  • Amanda: Wow, you're so handy.

The picnic table falls on Wooly:

  • Wooly: OW!
Wooly and the bins start glitching and the tape resets

  • Wooly: [pitched-down] "Hey, Amanda, what's that?"

A one winged butterfly appears.

  • Amanda: Oh no, Wooly! The butterfly has a broken wing!
  • Wooly: I bet we can fix it!
  • Amanda: We can't really fix EVERYTHING, Wooly...
  • Wooly: No! You were right, Amanda! We can fix anything!
  • Wooly: We can fix it, Right?

Before going to the frog:

  • Amanda: This is a waste of time...
  • Wooly: Please! We have to try!

Straying away from the task'

  • Amanda: How do you even fix a butterfly?
  • Wooly: We'll figure it out, trust me!

If the player chooses the butterfly wing, the butterfly flies away:

  • Amanda: It must be nice to just fly away like that...

If the player chooses the chicken leg or the bat wing, the butterfly is unable to fly:

  • Amanda: It's really suffering, it's too broken...

Amanda squishes the butterfly with her hand.

  • Amanda: I told you, there are some things you just can't fix...

  • Wooly: Wow! Amanda, we really can fix anything!
  • Amanda: It's nice to think so, but we can't...
  • Wooly: (Laughs) I dare you to name one thing we can't fix!
  • Amanda: My heart...

If the player takes the frog's heart, the frog dies:

  • Amanda: Thanks for trying...

The tape fades to black.

The tape ends with Hameln Entertainment's logo but the music is distorted.

If the player chooses the chicken leg, the rusty nail or the screw:

  • Amanda: See, I told there are things we can't fix...

Trivia[]

  • Hameln is spelt as "Hamlen" in the subtitles, and Blabbot is spelt as "BlabBot".
  • This is the first broken tape to be seen in the franchise, which explains all the distortion throughout the episode.
  • When the Hameln logo freezes, the slogan is cut off and reads "FOLLOW US TO." This could be a reference to the fact that Hameln isn't so fun because of their evildoings.
